So keep reading how we keep mornings simple and tear-free in our home!

Easy Morning Routine For School Kids

Here are 3 super simple ways to get through the morning rush and make it easier. That way, your child is off to school without stress (yay!) and in a great mood. Win-win. Keep reading for a visual morning routine checklist you can get right to your inbox, too!

Tip 1: Set an alarm!

Give yourself plenty of time to make breakfast and get ready. That way you won’t have to rush. I set my alarm 1 hour before the bus comes. This gives my son plenty of time to eat breakfast, get dressed, go to the bathroom, brush his teeth, and get his shoes and back pack on. We make it out to the bus in time for a few minutes of conversation, too.

Tip 2: Pack lunch boxes the night before

Pack those lunches the night before. Now it’s ready to go! Just throw in an ice pack and put it in your child’s back pack. This is a no-brainer if you ask me!

Tip 3. Have shoes, backpack, and anything else you need by the door

Why does it seem like a shoe goes missing when you need to run out the door? If you have a pair of shoes, their backpack, and a mask (hopefully this one doesn’t last forever) waiting by the door, then the morning will be a breeze!
