I’m honestly not a fan of blogs that give you like 50 or 100 activity and craft ideas because I get wayyy too overwhelmed looking through them all. So, I’ve rounded up just a few St. Patrick’s Day crafts for kids right here so you don’t get that “I have no idea what to make” thought in your head. You know what I mean? You can do all 3 of these crafts or just pick one. Either way, it will be simple to choose the best craft for you and your child.
Also, please enjoy the free printable shamrock at the end of this blog. I know those are NOT easy to free draw, especially if you’re not an artist (like me.) Alright, enough of this! Scroll down for your lucky crafts!
Easy St. Patrick’s Day Crafts for Toddlers
Rainbow Streamer St. Patrick’s Day Craft
How cute and easy is this paper plate St. Patrick’s day craft? All you need are streamers, a paper plate, and cotton balls. If you don’t have streamers, you can easily cut strips of construction paper instead!
All you do is cut a paper plate in half and glue cotton balls to it to make your cloud. Then glue streamers to the back of the paper plate to make the rainbow. This one is great to hang in the window or from the ceiling!
Dot Marker Rainbow St. Patrick’s Day Crafts for Toddlers
For this one, all you need is white paper and dot markers. I love these Chalkola dot markers, you can get them right on Amazon.
Make your rainbow as big or small as you’d like. You can even use what ever colors you want! Your kids can get totally creative with this colorful and sweet craft.
Tip: Use a pencil to make a rainbow shape so your child knows where to use the dot markers. They can then dot the markers on the pencil line or in between the pencil lines.
*If you don’t have dot markers, you can always use fingerprints for a sweeter keepsake — although that will be messier!
Mosaic Shamrock Craft for Toddlers:
This is my favorite one! I just love how it looks.
Cut out square-shaped, green and yellow shades of paper then glue them to the shamrock cut out (your printable shamrock is below!) You can use construction paper or tissue paper squares. I glued them to a black piece of paper and I feel like it really made this craft pop! I love how it came out.
