Gift Ideas for Toddlers that Won’t Break the Bank
If you’re reading this, you probably need gift ideas for toddlers this Christmas! Keep reading for some great ideas and for a fun freebie for the toddler in your life.
When you have kids, Christmas is so much more exciting! And also overwhelming and expensive and difficult and fun. Buying gifts for our toddlers just isn’t always easy. We want to find the most perfect toys but there is just so much available it makes it harder to choose what to get. So I put together this blog for you! A big list of gift ideas for your toddler. No stress.
Stop asking yourself: Should I only buy wooden toys? Do they really need this toy? Should I stay away from electronics? There’s so many questions, but ultimately, it’s up to you! That’s what makes it so fun but also so difficult. Here’s a list of all sorts of toys for your young toddler. They range from blocks, to battery operated toys, and beyond.
The special thing about this list: it won’t break the bank. Because let’s face it, kids outgrow toys just as fast as they outgrow their clothes!

Christmas Gift Ideas for Toddlers
Duplo Blocks – These building blocks are the perfect fine motor toy for toddlers! They help develop fine motor skills, spatial awareness, pretend play, colors, and more!
Cups – I’m all about buying things my kids actually NEED as well as things they want. Gifting cups helps update those old, gross ones that have been sitting in your cabinet.
Baby doll – There’s so many kinds of baby dolls out there. For toddlers, I love the plush baby dolls. They are cute, light-weight, and washable!
Books – Here is an Amazon list of our favorite board books!
Kitchen set – I’ve listed a Step2 kitchen set here because we use to have one and my kids loved it. It was affordable and the colors were nice. Wooden ones are super cute too though!
Gift Ideas for Toddlers
Bubble machine – I don’t think I’ve ever met a toddler who didn’t love bubbles! Bubbles are life, so you really can’t go wrong with a bubble machine. This bubble machine I mention on my store front has lasted us a few years too!
Zany Zoo – There is so much to do in this compact toy. It’s truly a win-win for small play spaces!
Xylophone – This toy has stood the test of time. We’ve had it since my first was a baby and he’s 6 now. It’s fun for all ages. I like that it’s a wooden toy but it’s super colorful.
Disney Reader – This toy reads stories out loud to your toddler! I don’t know about you, we LOVE books around here, but sometimes story time gets swept under the rug. (OOPS!) These are great when you’re pressed for time and want your child playing with something a bit more educational.
KiwiCo – These subscription boxes are the best! They come with 3 activities, have everything you need right in the box, and focus on STEM learning. You can pick the crate that corresponds with your child’s age and interests. Click here for $10 off your first box!
