I recently got a Vitaclean wall mount shower head, and in this blog I’m sharing my honest review of it! Keep reading for before & after photos!

I bought a Vitaclean shower head at the beginning of March 2023, after seeing ads for it on Instagram and signing up for their text updates. I live in an area with well water and the iron levels are outrageous. Most things in my house get stained orange and that means clothes and hair too! So here’s my Vitaclean honest review of the wall mount shower head.

My Vitaclean Honest Review

Now that you know the basics of your Vitaclean shower head, here’s my Vitaclean honest review!

First off, I got a wall mount shower head and it was extremely easy to install. The hardest part was getting my old shower head off! I put the vitamin C shot, ceramic balls, and microfiber cloth in, twisted the top piece on and connected it right to my shower pipe in less than 10 minutes! I also put it on immediately because I was so excited to try it out. Luckily, it was a hair wash day for me! haha!

I’ve been using this shower head now for 2 months and I love it! It makes my whole bathroom smell so good. The water pressure is insanely amazing. So great in fact, that my 6 year old daughter who is on the shorter side can now take showers because there is enough pressure to actually rinse shampoo out of her hair!

I immediately noticed a difference with my skin when I used my new shower head. I don’t get the slimy feel when I dry off (honestly, it was something I didn’t notice until it was gone.) But now I feel like my skin dries quicker and it doesn’t feel as “tight” and dry.

My hair over time has felt much softer and more manageable. It’s definitely much easier to comb when I get out of the shower. My scalp isn’t as itchy either, which is a huge deal because I have been dealing with itchy scalp and dandruff for a long time. I haven’t had my hair colored since buying this shower head, so I’m not sure yet how color will hold up with it. But when I do, I will edit it this post!

Changing the filters

Vitaclean recommends you change the microfiber cloth about every 30 days or when you notice the stream of water become affected. I changed my first cloth after 30 days and here’s what it looked like compared to a brand new cloth:

Pretty gross huh?! But I didn’t notice the stream of water coming out weird, so I’m going to leave the next one in a little bit longer and see how that goes.

The vitamin C shot they recommend you change every 3 months. Which again, I haven’t gotten to this point yet. The one I have is the original one I got and it’s still smelling great and my skin feels soft after the shower.

Edited: I updated my vitamin C shot in February to the rose scent and it is delicious! I definitely went too long without changing it and I won’t do that again.
